The mission of All Children Matter is to work for the
election of public officials who are committed to the enactment of meaningful
reforms to ensure that all children in America – without regard to race or
family income – have equal access to a quality education. All Children Matter also works in some states
to communicate with citizens about the issues that are important to them,
encouraging them to contact their candidates and legislators about these
important issues. In America today
we have a two-tiered system of education. Parents with financial resources can
afford the option of moving their children to better-performing school
districts, but millions of children who come from disadvantaged families are
